Avoiding the sniper on the tower and the security bots below, head northeast and drop down onto an overturned black van. Enter the nearby building and pick up the nanokey lying on the floor by a dead body. Use the nanokey to open the hatch in the floor nearby and climb down into the basement. You get 50 skill points. There is a datacube down here and also an augmentation upgrade canister behind a sealed door. Use a multitool to get at the canister and use it to upgrade the spy drone augmentation to level 2. Climb out of the basement and find the lockers. Inside one of the locked ones you can find a replacement multitool (break the locker open). Leave this building and make your way over to the tower where the sniper is located (once again you’ll have to avoid the bots). Use your nanokey to enter the base of the tower. Climb the ladder up after disabling the LAM on the wall. At the top kill the MJ12 trooper and use the security computer terminal to switch off the camera and open the blast doors. You should also get 100 skill points up here. Come down from the tower and, avoiding the bots again, enter the hangar to the Northwest.

Then go towards the guard building in the southwest corner. Kill the 3 MJ12 troopers gathered around the table inside. Take the nanokey and credit chits totalling 200 credits from the table. Break open the locked boxes and one of the contains a range weapon modification. Use it to upgrade your GEP gun. Go up the stairs. On the pillar in the middle of the room is a keypad that controls access to the loft. The two digit code is easily guessable, but there is nothing of interest in the loft anyway. Leave the building and return to where you began this level to the East. You will find a gate in the fence here (although it is quite difficult to make out that it isn’t just another part of the fence). Open it with your nanokey and go inside. The first thing to deal with is the building on the left. Use the small metal crate to smash one of the windows and climb in. Quickly kill the 2 MJ12 troopers in this room. Grab the nanokey and go West through the room filled with crates. In the room beyond that crawl through the grate in the wall on the right. Go up the stairs and kill the MJ12 trooper sitting at the desk as well as the MJ12 trooper walking around on the roof outside. Now take care of the MJ12 trooper carrying a sniper rifle up on the tower. Climb the ladder to the top and kill him. It is now time to deal with the bots. Destroy both of the 2 security bots that are wandering around. Don’t worry about having to use regeneration as there is a repair bot nearby. To get to the repair bot return to the roof of the building to the South and go round to the north side of it. Cross the bridge and climb down the ladder inside the building. Once you have healed yourself, use the grate in the floor to leave the room. It takes you to a staircase underground.

Watch out for snipers above you and on the roof of the building out at sea. Destroy the second military bot and also the MJ12 trooper near to it. You will inevitably sustain some damage from destroying the bots. Search the trooper to find a nanokey. Walk over to the hut in the northwest corner and use LAMs to climb onto the roof. Open the hatch and drop down into the hut. Find 2 nanokeys inside a cupboard. As you approach the door you will get 149 skill points. Use one of the keys to open the door. Make your way over to the base of the column under the main building and open the door with your nanokey. Ascend the sprial staircase as well as the next two small flights of stairs. Kill the MJ12 trooper patrolling this walkway and the MJ12 trooper in the room to the left who will probably come after you when you kill the first one. When everyone is calm again, speak to the scientists that you find around here. One of them will give you the code to the karkian tank on the right as you come up the stairs. Enter the code and jump into the tank to get 50 skill points. Kill the baby karkian (after being told by the scientist that the animals are being treated too badly!) and then leave the water again. Now go across to the room that was on the left as you came up the stairs. Avoid the camera in here and go through the passage leading west. Kill the 2 MJ12 troopers in this area (one in this room and the other in the room just off to the left). Now that the floor is safe you can go back to the room with the camera and look at the keypad to the locked door without worrying if the alarm goes off. The code only has 2 digits so you can use trial and error to bypass it. When you get inside you are awarded 50 skill points. Go back through the passage by the camera and get to the far southwest corner of this floor then climb the ladder up through the hatch out onto the roof of the building.

One of them will give you a nanokey. You can also speak to Snadra Renton from Hell’s Kitchen who happens to have found her way here. Further south behind a fallen pillar is a dead body and another nanokey. Beyond the ruined bridge to the north is a building on the right. Use your nanokey to enter through the locked door. Make your way along the sewer pipe and climb up the ladder to find yourself in a small enclosed rubbish area in the gas station’s grounds. You should be careful on this level to make sure that the enemies don’t realise you are attacking them or else Tiffany could be killed. Crawl through the small hole in the fence and kill the MJ12 trooper outside when no one else is watching. Then kill the MJ12 commando walking around near the pumps. Enter the building to the East and use the crates as steps to climb onto what looks like a generator in one of the back rooms. This should let you access the ventilation duct. Crawl along the duct and you will get 50 skill points. At the far end climb the ladder into the storage space above the ceiling. From here use the ladder in the middle to get onto the roof.

A scientist will immediately come to talk to you to explain the current situation. She will also give you a code and a map. Now open the door to the stairs that lead down from the roof. At the bottom of the stairs take care to avoid the camera. Run so that you are under the camera and from there access the security computer terminal. Disable the cameras and set the turret to attack enemies. Go through the next door. Climb the ladder on the right and look down the shaft. Use the ledges and red light bulbs on the far side of the shaft to gently drop down to the bottom, one step at a time. You may need to use you speed augmentation for the last drop to the ground to prevent yourself from losing any health at all. You get 50 skill points upon reaching the bottom. There is a dead mechanic here and a nanokey beside him. Go through the grate and turn around to face the area you came from. Use the code that the scientist gave you right at the start of the level to activate the backup power for the bots. You get 100 skill points. Now smash open the cabinet behind you to take the bioelectric cell. Then head up the stairs. Kill the 2 MJ12 troopers beyond the door at the top. Now kill the other MJ12 trooper on this level and then speak to the scientist that he was talking to. The enemies on the lower level may or may not come up to get you after this. Either way, you should kill them and get down to the ground floor (that’s 2 MJ12 troopers and a man in black.

As you come out into an alley look behind you. Use the metal crates as steps up to the ledge on the wall. From there break one of the windows and enter the room. Search the dead body to find a chit with 100 credits. There is also another chit for 150 credits lying nearby. Use the beam in this room to make your way up to the top floor of the building. Take the nanokey resting by a mirror up here and then get back down to the alley that you first emerged in. Walk along until you reach a gate. Beyond it will be an MJ12 commando. Wait until he has his back to you, then open the gate using your nanokey and kill him. Keep going forward until you see a bridge across the road. There is a sniper up there so be careful. Run under the bridge and also be sure to avoid the gaze of a nearby military bot. On one side of the road under the bridge is both a locked door and a window behind which are some items. Break the window, setting off the alarm, and run back towards the alley beyond the gate until the alarm has ended (quickly to avoid fire from the turret). When it safe to do so again, return to the window and access the security computer terminal behind it. Turn off the camera and set the turret to enemies. Also pick up the 4 flare darts and 4 tranquilizer darts. You should now have the full 60 tranquilizer darts no matter how many or few you may have picked up from enemies in the past.

Smash down the planks of wood that are across it and go inside. Go through to the room straight ahead of you and into the one beyond that. On top of the fireplace in here there is a nanokey. Go back to the first room you were in and head to the North. Beyond the dining room is the kitchen. Climb into the dumbwaiter and press the switch to go upstairs. This takes you to Beth’s bedroom and you are rewarded with 100 skill points. Take the 4 flare darts from the table in front of you and the nanokey from a shelf to the left. Nicolette will say how much her mother valued the painting in this room. If you go over to it you will find that it can be opened to reveal a hidden stash of goodies that Beth had left for Nicolette. You can get 100 credits, a nanokey, a datacube and a reload weapon modification (use it to upgrade your sniper rifle). Exit Beth’s bedroom (Nicolette should have opened one of the doors for you, otherwise you can use your nanokey). Go to the left and Nicolette tells you that there is a nanokey on the table in the corner of the gallery overlooking one of the rooms below. Open the next door that you come to on your left and enter the bathroom. In the far room there is yet another nanokey by the large mirror. Leave the bathroom and continue to the left. Open the room at the far end of the corridor with your nanokey - this is Nicolette’s bedroom. ‘Use’ the human skull above the fireplace to reveal a secret area in which there is a clip weapon modification that you can use to improve your sniper rifle - you will no longer be able to make use of further clip upgrades. Leave Nicolette’s bedroom and take the first left. Go down the stairs and then get back to the kitchen again.

If you look around you, you will notice that you cannot return to the previous level, which is why you had to take the TNT with you in advance. Leave it here for the moment, as you will first need to deal with the many enemies above ground. As you continue through the sewers you will reach a junction, turn right here. Continue to the end where there is a ladder. Climb up and smash open the hatch. Take care while peering out as there are bots on patrol near here. You should climb up when they have their backs turned towards you. Run northwest behind the nearest building to where the hatch was. There is a safe spot here. Follow the perimeter wall to the West (carefully avoiding the security bot between the two buildings) and then to the South. In the southwest corner of the map is a large structure with many pillars. There will be a single MJ12 trooper walking around it. Kill him whilst out of view of nearby policemen. (Otherwise they will turn on you as well). If you are interested, this trooper is actually carrying a scope weapon modification, but you can’t use any more of them. Go towards the metro entrance and get the attention of the MJ12 trooper that is patrolling just to the right of it. Lead him to the pillars where you can easily kill him out of sight. Next you should get the attention of the MJ12 commando that was just beyond where the previous trooper had been patrolling. Lead him to the pillars as well. He is likely to begin firing rockets at you, but these are easy to dodge, so don’t worry.
